As a Principal Global Solution Architect - Security within the worldwide Customer Success team, you will support customers in securing their environments by providing security thought leadership and execution. You will be responsible for creating security plans that transition customer practices toward modern, cloud-native approaches using Microsoft security solutions. Your daily work involves proposing viable solutions based on specific products, demonstrating complex concepts during design collaboration sessions, and resolving technical blockers to accelerate deployment. You will also author whitepapers to influence product roadmaps and guide intellectual property development. Key technologies include Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Entra, and the Defender suite, including Endpoint, Office, Identity, Cloud, and Cloud Apps. The role requires expertise in cloud security computing domains, hybrid infrastructure, network security, and information security management systems like SIEM and XDR.
Develop security plans and strategies to transition customers toward modern, cloud-native security practices using Microsoft solutions.
Propose viable technical solutions based on specific Microsoft products and demonstrate complex concepts during design collaboration sessions.
Apply deep knowledge of security architecture to meet business requirements and resolve technical blockers for customers.
Serve as a subject matter expert to support customer projects involving specific Microsoft Security solutions.
Gather and analyze customer feedback regarding technical preferences and business needs to map solutions to desired outcomes.
Identify and remove technical obstacles to accelerate the consumption and deployment of security technologies.
Author Voice-of-the-customer whitepapers to influence product roadmaps and internal intellectual property development.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or architecture.
5+ years of success delivering complex technical security and compliance deployment projects and infrastructure design.
Deep knowledge across cloud security computing domains including SIEM, XDR, Data Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, and Identity.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, or the Microsoft Defender suite.
Experience with Microsoft Entra and enterprise-scale hybrid infrastructure and network security.
Preferred certification in Microsoft Azure, Security architecture, CISSP, or CCSP.
