What you'll do

Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex application systems using Java and Python.
Architect and implement data migration strategies between on-premise systems and public cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
Build and optimize high-performance data pipelines and integration solutions across hybrid cloud environments.
Apply cloud-native principles to ensure application scalability, reliability, and security.
Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies and foundational models into the firm's application landscape.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams as a subject matter expert.
Ensure all technical solutions adhere to architectural blueprints, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.

What we're looking for

6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in software development, focusing on backend systems, data engineering, or cloud-native applications.
Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python.
Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data migrations and robust data pipelines across hybrid cloud environments (on-premise, AWS, GCP).
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, specifically AWS and GCP.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with foundational AI models (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Llama) and prompt engineering concepts (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree or university degree (or equivalent experience).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide engineering teams.
