What you'll do

Architect and lead the development of scalable, elastic distributed systems for core infrastructure.
Optimize code and data paths to support high-throughput, hyper-scale workloads and large-scale data processing.
Design fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, and automated failover mechanisms to ensure high availability.
Implement network reliability strategies including load-shedding, throttling, and rate-limiting to meet service level objectives.
Establish telemetry, KPIs, and proactive monitoring dashboards to identify system gaps and performance issues.
Design complex validation scenarios such as fault injection and brownouts to ensure system correctness.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools for safe patching, updates, and rollbacks.
Proactively diagnose and resolve production incidents while mentoring peers on troubleshooting and operational readiness.

What we're looking for

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6 to 10+ years of software engineering experience building highly available, scalable distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, Rust, C/C++, or similar systems and backend languages.
Deep expertise in core infrastructure areas including distributed systems, cloud control planes, networking, storage, and security.
Ability to lead the design and delivery of complex, resilient, and observable services.
Strong understanding of failure handling, concurrency, asynchronous workflows, and lifecycle management in distributed systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and mentor others on technical leadership and code reviews.
Experience with Linux, kernel programming, and system programming.
