What you'll do

Architect and lead the development of scalable, elastic distributed systems for core infrastructure.
Optimize code and data paths to support high-throughput, hyper-scale workloads and large-scale data processing.
Design fault-tolerant systems using redundancy, replication, and automated failover mechanisms to ensure high availability.
Implement network reliability strategies including load-shedding, throttling, and rate-limiting to meet service level objectives.
Build telemetry systems, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms to proactively monitor system health and performance.
Design complex validation scenarios such as fault injection and brownouts to ensure system correctness and durability.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools for seamless patching, updates, and rollbacks.
Implement robust security controls and remediation plans to protect multi-tenant environments and maintain compliance.

What we're looking for

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6–10+ years of software engineering experience building highly available, scalable distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
Strong programming skills in Java, Go, Rust, C/C++, or similar systems or backend languages.
Deep experience in core infrastructure areas such as distributed systems, cloud control planes, networking, security, or platform automation.
Ability to independently lead the design and delivery of complex, resilient, and observable services.
Strong understanding of failure handling, concurrency, asynchronous workflows, and lifecycle management in distributed systems.
Proficiency in kernel programming and system programming.
Proven ability to mentor peers and raise the technical bar through design and code reviews.
