What you'll do

Execute full cycle PCB design for spacecraft systems including requirements gathering, schematic design, and component selection.
Implement high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and low-power designs for space flight hardware.
Drive product maturity through rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification activities.
Establish internal guidelines and best practices for space flight hardware design, testing, and manufacturing.
Perform low-level firmware development to support system bring-up and testing.
Conduct root cause analysis to support production operations and resolve technical issues.
Mentor the engineering team and lead cross-discipline design reviews.
Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high ownership of the lifecycle.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Professional experience in hardware product development, including designing space flight hardware.
Full understanding of PCB layout techniques for space flight mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.
Proficiency with E-CAD tools such as Altium Designer or equivalent.
Knowledge of modern analog/digital electronics, high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and low/medium power designs.
Familiarity with standard interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, MIPI CSI-2) and common MCU, CPU, and FPGA technologies.
Experience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, Cubesat systems, or cryptographic equipment (preferred).
