What you'll do

Perform full cycle PCB design for spacecraft and ground equipment including requirement derivation and schematic design.
Select components and oversee the completion of layout designs for space flight hardware.
Implement high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and ultra-low power circuit designs.
Conduct rapid prototyping, design verification, and space qualification activities for product components.
Develop low-level firmware to support hardware bring-up and testing processes.
Perform root cause investigation and data analysis to support production operations.
Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting changing delivery timelines in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for

B.S. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar technical field.
2-8 years of professional experience in hardware product development.
Proficiency in PCB layout techniques for space flight mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.
Ability to read and interpret schematics while applying best practices for each design.
Familiarity with standard interfaces including Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and MIPI CSI-2.
Knowledge of modern analog/digital electronics and experience with MCU, CPU, and FPGA devices.
Experience using Altium Designer or equivalent E-CAD tools.
Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Experience designing and flying CubeSat spacecraft in LEO through GEO environments (preferred).
1+ years of experience working in a classified environment (preferred).
