Circuit Designer, Space Special Programs

What you'll do

• Perform full cycle PCB design for spacecraft and associated ground equipment products.
• Derive requirements and create schematics for high-reliability space flight hardware.
• Implement high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and ultra-low-power circuit designs.
• Conduct rapid prototyping, design verification, and space qualification activities.
• Develop low-level firmware for hardware bring-up and testing.
• Perform root cause investigation and data analysis to support production operations.
• Execute component selection and supervise layout completion for complex assemblies.

What we're looking for

• B.S. in electrical/computer engineering or a similar engineering or technical field.
• 2-8 years of professional experience in hardware product development.
• Basic understanding of PCB layout techniques for space flight mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices for each design.
• Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and MIPI CSI-2.
• Familiarity with common MCU, CPU, and FPGA devices and technologies.
• Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
• Experience using Altium Designer or equivalent E-CAD tools.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience designing, integrating, and flying Cubesat spacecraft in LEO through GEO environments (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience working in a classified environment (preferred).
