What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for electrical engineering initiatives including PCB and superconducting integrated circuit development.
  • Manage complex PCB supplier engagements involving capability assessments, technical reviews, and manufacturing readiness evaluations.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align deliverables, resolve blockers, and ensure high-quality hardware execution.
  • Develop and improve internal processes for design review, manufacturing, testability, and validation workflows.
  • Own program budgets, resource forecasting, and cost modeling for assigned engineering projects.
  • Synthesize technical and supplier inputs into decision frameworks for executive and technical audiences.
  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinators while promoting a culture of inclusion and accountability.

What we're looking for

  • A Doctorate in Physics or Engineering with 3+ years of experience, a Master's with 6+ years, or a Bachelor's with 8+ years is required.
  • Candidates must be able to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Candidates must provide proof of citizenship or protected status to access export-controlled information under ITAR and EAR regulations.
  • Experience in engineering program management, hardware development, or technical leadership is preferred.
  • Experience working with PCBs, superconducting integrated circuits, fabrication vendors, and contract manufacturers is preferred.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering fundamentals including signal integrity, power delivery, and manufacturing constraints is preferred.
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM), design for test (DFT), and process development is preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years.
