Senior EE Systems Operations Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution for electrical engineering initiatives, including PCB and superconducting integrated circuit development.
• Drive complex PCB supplier engagements by coordinating capability assessments, technical reviews, and yield improvement.
• Partner across multidisciplinary hardware teams to align deliverables, resolve blockers, and ensure high-quality execution.
• Develop and improve electrical and PCB development processes, quality frameworks, and manufacturing readiness workflows.
• Own program budgets, resource planning, and cost scenario modeling for assigned hardware efforts.
• Synthesize engineering and supplier input into decision frameworks for technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor other engineering planning coordinators and engineers while reinforcing company values.

What we're looking for

• Doctorate in Physics, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of industry or R&D experience.
• Master's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of industry or R&D experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of industry or R&D experience.
• Equivalent experience to the educational and experience requirements.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or other protected status for export-controlled information access.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering program management, hardware development, or technical leadership (preferred).
• Experience with PCBs, superconducting integrated circuits, and electronics manufacturing services (preferred).
