You will utilize your skills in project scheduling and resource planning to deliver high-quality components on aggressive timelines within a sophisticated hardware development environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for electrical engineering initiatives including PCB and superconducting integrated circuit development.
  • Manage complex PCB supplier engagements involving capability assessments, technical reviews, and manufacturing process development.
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to align deliverables, resolve blockers, and ensure high-quality hardware execution.
  • Develop and improve electrical and PCB development processes, quality frameworks, and design for manufacturing workflows.
  • Own program budgets, resource planning, and cost modeling for assigned engineering projects.
  • Synthesize technical and supplier inputs into decision frameworks for executive and technical audiences.
  • Mentor other engineers and coordinators while promoting a culture of inclusion and accountability.

What we're looking for

  • Doctorate in Physics, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of experience in industry or R&D.
  • Master's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience in industry or R&D.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of experience in industry or R&D.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and meet export control requirements including citizenship verification.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering program management, hardware development, or technical leadership (preferred).
  • Experience with PCBs, superconducting integrated circuits, fabrication vendors, and contract manufacturers (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals like signal integrity and power delivery (preferred).
  • Familiarity with DFM/DFT, project scheduling, budget management, and AI tools for hardware development (preferred).
