What you'll do

Lead electrical design execution at the system level based on customer requirements and architectural designs.
Define detailed design specifications for hardware components and systems.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure product functionality, performance, and reliability.
Conduct deep design reviews of schematics, board files, BOMs, DFT, and DFM.
Define and execute board-level bring-up and electrical test requirements.
Develop system-level bring-up and end-to-end validation test plans with partner teams.
Lead hardware debug efforts, triage issues, and drive resolution for reported bugs.

What we're looking for

A Doctorate and 3+ years of experience, a Master's and 6+ years, or a Bachelor's and 8+ years in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other required security screenings.
Experience with high volume hardware production in the server area (preferred).
10+ years of hands-on experience in system level design and implementation across the hardware development lifecycle (preferred).
Experience with high-speed and high-power products design (preferred).
10+ years of experience developing board and system level bring-up and test plans (preferred).
10+ years of experience debugging board and system level issues for Cloud Servers (preferred).
Knowledge of high-speed interfaces like PCIe, DDR, and ethernet; operating systems; and system firmware (preferred).
