As a Principal Edge Architect - Platform, you will lead the Physical AI - Edge Platform Architecture Team to define the architecture strategy for machine autonomy applications. You will own critical decisions regarding compute platforms, input/output interfaces, networking, runtime environments, storage, and monitoring systems. Your daily work involves managing trade-offs between GPU, CPU, memory, power, thermal limits, and reliability to ensure scalable, secure, and serviceable edge platforms across diverse machine types and sensor configurations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in perception, robotics, safety, and cybersecurity to align platform capabilities with autonomy needs. The role requires expertise in NVIDIA Thor, CUDA, TensorRT, and GPU-accelerated inference. You will solve complex problems in construction autonomy by building the infrastructure necessary for machines to perceive environments and make informed decisions in dynamic, real-world industrial settings.
