The Principal Digital Architect - Robotics Platform joins a team focused on building the software foundation for autonomous machines. This role is responsible for defining and delivering the end-to-end software architecture of the robotics platform, including middleware, runtime, inter-process communication, platform services, and compute architecture. The architect will establish standards, APIs, and reference designs to enable teams across autonomy, controls, machine learning, simulation, and data to build and deploy faster. Key technical requirements include experience with ROS 2 or DDS, edge and cloud compute architecture, GPU accelerated compute, and containerized deployment. The role addresses the complex challenge of construction autonomy by creating a scalable infrastructure that allows machines to perceive environments and make informed decisions. Essential skills include analytical thinking, requirement analysis, and expertise in Agile SDLC within public cloud ecosystems including CI/CD and test automation.
