The Principal Design Engineer joins the Engineering & Technology organization to lead the complete hardware development lifecycle for advanced electronic products in demanding oil and gas permanent completions. This role involves defining system architecture, hardware requirements, and design strategies while collaborating with mechanical engineers to create robust electro-mechanical solutions. The engineer will perform tradeoff analyses, manage component selection, develop hardware standards, and oversee validation and qualification plans including EMC and environmental testing.
