What you'll do

Develop and maintain accurate project budgets, cash flow models, and long-range forecasts for data center construction.
Manage contract administration activities including procurement, change orders, claims management, and commercial negotiations.
Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent cost overruns and schedule delays.
Establish cost governance structures including WBS/CBS codes, reporting cadences, and executive dashboards.
Lead estimation processes from concept to definitive design based on market intelligence and historical data.
Monitor project expenditures and provide clear cost narratives regarding variances and corrective actions to leadership.
Support value engineering efforts to optimize costs while maintaining quality and project requirements.
Mentor junior staff and standardize cost management templates and training for organizational scale.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field.
12+ years of progressive experience in cost management and cost controls for large capital projects.
Demonstrated expertise in estimating, forecasting, change control, and contract/commercial evaluation.
Strong working knowledge of construction means, methods, cost drivers, productivity, and sequencing.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with project controls tools like EcoSys, Unifier, Primavera P6, or SAP/Oracle ERP.
Ability to develop executive-ready reporting and manage disciplined monthly performance routines.
Experience in the data center or critical infrastructure sector is preferred.
Professional certifications such as CCP, MRICS, or PMP are preferred.
