The Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst - TS/SCI joins the CIDO Classified Solutions team to manage cybersecurity programs for assigned information systems. This role involves executing all cybersecurity tasks, conducting system audits, and performing continuous monitoring of security controls and configurations. The analyst will assess networks within enclaves to identify deviations from policy, validate security requirements, and drive government policy implementation through process tailoring. Key responsibilities include overseeing program control processes to mitigate risk, leading formal Security Test and Evaluation activities, and preparing critical documentation such as System Security Plans and Plan of Action and Milestones. Required skills include proficiency with tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP, alongside knowledge of NIST, JSIG, and DAAG frameworks. The role addresses the challenge of maintaining secure information systems within a classified environment.
Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and execute related tasks.
Lead regular reviews of system audits and continuous monitoring activities to improve security posture.
Assess networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policies, or local requirements.
Analyze and validate established security requirements while recommending necessary safeguards and policy tailoring.
Oversee program control processes to mitigate risk and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) cycles.
Lead formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities including preparation, testing, and reporting.
Document A&A results and coordinate with the security team to submit responses to authorities.
Prepare and submit critical compliance documentation such as System Security Plans and Plan of Action and Milestones.
What we're looking for
Must have a Master's degree with 3 years experience, Bachelor's with 5 years, Associate's with 7 years, or High School/GED with 9 years of relevant technical experience.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 (8570 equivalent) requirements for an IAM level I certification or higher.
Must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI access eligibility.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (preferred).
7 years of ISSO/ISSM experience in a classified environment (preferred).
CISP, knowledge of security tools like ACAS and Splunk, and experience with RMF frameworks are preferred.
