The Classified Cybersecurity Analyst 3/4 joins the CIDO Classified Solutions team to support information system lifecycle activities within a secure environment. This role involves conducting system audits, continuous monitoring of security controls, and evaluating the security posture of various information systems. The analyst will perform assessments of networks and enclaves to identify deviations from policy, validate security requirements, and recommend necessary safeguards. Key responsibilities include establishing program control processes for risk mitigation, supporting Assessment and Authorization activities, performing Security Test and Evaluation, and preparing Risk Management Framework body of evidence. Required skills include proficiency with tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP, along with knowledge of NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs. The role addresses the critical challenge of maintaining secure, multi-domain systems in rapidly changing global security environments.
Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring activities to evaluate security posture across all controls and configurations.
Assess networks within specific enclaves to identify deviations from established policies or acceptable configurations.
Analyze existing requirements to validate, recommend, and implement additional security safeguards and government policies.
Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support the Assessment and Authorization of information systems.
Support formal Security Test and Evaluation by preparing for tests, participating in testing, and analyzing results.
Document all Assessment and Authorization activities and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
Perform research on emerging technologies, hardware introductions, and software to ensure system security.
What we're looking for
Must possess a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for Cybersecurity (722), such as Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
For Level 3: Master’s with 3 years experience, Bachelor's with 5 years, Associate's with 7 years, or High School with 9 years of relevant experience.
For Level 4: Master’s with 6 years experience, Bachelor's with 8 years, Associate's with 10 years, or High School with 12 years of relevant experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring a government clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (preferred).
Experience in cybersecurity compliance such as Assessment & Authorization under RMF; and knowledge of tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP (preferred).
