The Classified Cybersecurity Analyst - Top Secret joins the CIDO Classified Solutions team to support information system lifecycle activities within a secure environment. This role involves conducting system audits, continuous monitoring of security controls, and performing assessments of networks to identify deviations from established policies. The analyst will validate security requirements, implement government policies, and manage risk mitigation through Assessment and Authorization processes. Key responsibilities include participating in Security Test and Evaluation, preparing Risk Management Framework body of evidence, and performing hardware research and software analysis. Required skills include a Top Secret clearance and 8140-compliant certifications like Security+ or CISSP. Preferred technical competencies include experience with ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP tools, alongside knowledge of NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs to ensure the security posture of critical information systems.
Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring of security controls, configurations, and operational processes.
Assess networks within enclaves to identify deviations from established policies or acceptable configurations.
Analyze and validate security requirements while recommending necessary safeguards and process tailoring.
Execute Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities including risk mitigation, certification testing, and hardware research.
Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) by preparing tests, analyzing results, and drafting reports.
Document A&A activities and technical coordination to build the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
What we're looking for
Must have a Master's degree, or a Bachelor's with 2 years experience, or an Associate's with 4 years experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years experience.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 (8570 equivalent) requirements for a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst – IAM level I certification or higher.
Must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with a closed investigation date within the last 6 years or be enrolled in the CE Program.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Experience in cybersecurity compliance, such as Assessment & Authorization under RMF (preferred).
Top Secret with SAP/SAR access (preferred).
Knowledge of security tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP; and knowledge of frameworks like NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs (preferred).
