The Classified Cybersecurity Analyst/Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst joins the CIDO Classified Solutions team to support information system lifecycle activities. This role involves conducting system audits, continuous monitoring of security controls, and performing assessments of networks within specific enclaves to identify deviations from established policies. The individual will analyze security requirements, implement government policies, and manage risk mitigation through Assessment and Authorization processes. Key responsibilities include coordinating security certification testing, preparing Risk Management Framework body of evidence, and conducting research on emerging technologies and hardware. Required skills include meeting U.S. Government 8140 requirements for IAT Level II (Security+ CE) and maintaining a Secret clearance. Preferred technical competencies include experience with ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP tools, alongside knowledge of NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs to ensure robust security posture for classified information systems.
Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring of security controls, configurations, and operational processes.
Assess networks within enclaves to identify deviations from established policies or acceptable configurations.
Analyze and recommend additional security requirements and safeguards to validate existing systems.
Implement government policies and provide recommendations for process tailoring and documentation.
Manage risk mitigation activities and support the Assessment and Authorization of information systems.
Perform security certification testing, investigations, and research on emerging technologies.
Support formal Security Test and Evaluation by preparing tests, analyzing results, and reporting findings.
Prepare Risk Management Framework body of evidence and document all technical coordination activities.
What we're looking for
Must possess a current U.S. Government Secret security clearance or be enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation Program.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements for IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
For Classified Cybersecurity Analyst: Master's with 0 years, Bachelor's with 2 years, Associate's with 4 years, or High School/GED with 6 years of experience.
For Principal Cybersecurity Analyst: Master's with 3 years, Bachelor's with 5 years, Associate's with 7 years, or High School/GED with 9 years of experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required for positions requiring a government clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (preferred).
Experience in cybersecurity compliance, such as Assessment & Authorization under RMF (preferred).
Knowledge of security tools like ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP; and frameworks like NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs (preferred).
