What you'll do

  • Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and execute related tasks.
  • Conduct and lead regular system audits and continuous monitoring activities to improve security posture.
  • Assess networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policies, or local requirements.
  • Analyze and validate established security requirements while recommending additional safeguards.
  • Drive the implementation of government policies and provide recommendations for process tailoring.
  • Oversee program control processes to mitigate risk and support system Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
  • Lead formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities including preparation, testing, and reporting.
  • Prepare and submit A&A documentation such as System Security Plans and Risk Acceptance Reports.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Master's degree with 6 years experience, Bachelor's with 8 years, Associate's with 10 years, or High School/GED with 12 years.
  • Must have experience with Linux (RHEL), eMass, SIEM tools, and Compliance Scanning.
  • Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for an IAM Level III certification such as CISM, CISSP, or CCISO.
  • Must possess a current Secret level security clearance at a minimum.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Master’s degree in Cyber Security and 10 years of experience with certification and accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, RMF, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development (preferred).
  • Knowledge of security tools such as Elk and Trellix, and frameworks like DAAG, SSPs, and SCTMs; Active Top Secret clearance (preferred).
