The Sr Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst joins the Classified CIDO Solutions team to manage the cybersecurity program for assigned information systems. This role involves executing all cybersecurity tasks, conducting system audits, performing continuous monitoring, and assessing networks within specific enclaves to identify deviations from policy. The analyst will drive government policy implementation, oversee risk mitigation through Assessment and Authorization processes, and lead formal Security Test and Evaluation activities. Key responsibilities include preparing documentation such as System Security Plans and Risk Acceptance Reports while coordinating security certification testing. Required technical skills include experience with Linux (RHEL), eMass, SIEM tools, and Compliance Scanning. Preferred expertise includes ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, NIST, RMF, Elk, and Trellix. The role addresses the critical challenge of securing classified information systems within a complex government security framework.
Manage the cybersecurity program for all assigned information systems and execute related tasks.
Conduct and lead regular system audits and continuous monitoring activities to improve security posture.
Assess networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policies, or local requirements.
Analyze and validate established security requirements while recommending additional safeguards.
Drive the implementation of government policies and provide recommendations for process tailoring.
Oversee program control processes to mitigate risk and support system Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
Lead formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) activities including preparation, testing, and reporting.
Prepare and submit A&A documentation such as System Security Plans and Risk Acceptance Reports.
What we're looking for
Must have a Master's degree with 6 years experience, Bachelor's with 8 years, Associate's with 10 years, or High School/GED with 12 years.
Must have experience with Linux (RHEL), eMass, SIEM tools, and Compliance Scanning.
Must meet U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for an IAM Level III certification such as CISM, CISSP, or CCISO.
Must possess a current Secret level security clearance at a minimum.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Master’s degree in Cyber Security and 10 years of experience with certification and accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework (preferred).
Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, RMF, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development (preferred).
Knowledge of security tools such as Elk and Trellix, and frameworks like DAAG, SSPs, and SCTMs; Active Top Secret clearance (preferred).
