Presales Solution Engineer, Databases and Analytics

What you'll do

• Drive technical sales using demos and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to influence solution design and production deployments.
• Lead hands-on engagements such as hackathons and architecture workshops to accelerate customer adoption of cloud platforms.
• Design secure, scalable data architectures in collaboration with platform leads and engineering teams.
• Resolve technical blockers and objections by collaborating with engineering teams to improve products.
• Maintain deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Purview, and various cloud database systems like SQL DB and Cosmos DB.
• Manage the migration of on-premises enterprise data warehouses and Hadoop solutions to modern cloud environments.
• Represent the company as a thought leader in cloud database and analytics communities and customer forums.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field and 4+ years technical pre-sales or consulting experience.
• Proficiency in Cloud & AI Databases including SQL DB, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL for migration and creating new AI applications.
• Proficiency in Cloud & AI Analytics tools such as Fabric, Databricks, and Purview, along with knowledge of competitors like BigQuery, Redshift, and Snowflake.
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements such as hackathons, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and MVPs that drive production-scale outcomes.
• 4+ years experience with cloud/hybrid or on-premises infrastructure, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and technology management.
• Proficiency in data warehouse and big data migration involving on-prem appliances like Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, and Hadoop.
• 6+ years of technical pre-sales, consulting, or delivery experience (preferred).
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience (preferred).
