Senior Cloud Solution Architect-CTJ-Secret joins the Cloud & AI Data team to help customers build unified, governed, secure, and AI-ready data estates on Microsoft Azure. In this customer-facing role, you will design and deliver data platform, analytics, and database solutions that enable production-scale AI and agent scenarios. You will lead technical engagements including architecture design, proof of concepts, and production deployments using tools like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for MySQL, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft IQ. The role focuses on solving complex data infrastructure problems by improving workload health, resiliency, security, and capacity while unlocking value from integrated AI capabilities. You will also provide technical leadership by mentoring team members, contributing to intellectual property, and translating customer problems into scalable solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
Design and deliver secure, scalable data platforms and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure for production-scale AI.
Lead technical engagements including architecture design, proof of concepts, and production deployments using repeatable intellectual property.
Advise customers on adopting technologies like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and various Azure database services.
Translate complex customer problems into technical solutions that align with Microsoft product strategy and ROI goals.
Act as a technical advisor to C-level executives to bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements.
Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring solutions are cost-optimized and resilient.
Mentor team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing regarding cloud architecture and AI capabilities.
Create and share technical content for external events and internal communities to promote Microsoft brand awareness.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field.
4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, architecture, or consulting.
Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required to meet legal restrictions for government agency customers.
8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies and architecture with a Bachelor's degree (preferred).
6+ years of experience in cloud, technology solutions, and architecture with a Master's degree (preferred).
4+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role (preferred).
4+ years of experience working on technical projects (preferred).
Technical Certification in Cloud, such as Azure, AWS, Google, or security certifications (preferred).
