What you'll do

Manage pre-construction programs for large-scale data centers to ensure safety, quality, and budget compliance.
Oversee initial project budgeting, cost estimation, and value engineering opportunities.
Lead pre-construction design reviews and coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Identify and mitigate risks through technical analysis of site plans and construction documents.
Manage early procurement activities to ensure materials and staffing meet project timelines.
Conduct safety audits and ensure all construction programs comply with OSHA and other regulations.
Evaluate, select, and monitor the performance of general contractors and key subcontractors.
Develop metrics and dashboards to track progress on pre-construction milestones and risk mitigation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
12+ years of related experience or equivalent experience.
15+ years of experience leading construction execution for large-scale data center projects is preferred.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check every two years.
Experience in managing pre-construction programs including site selection, early works, and constructability studies.
Proficiency in budget estimation, project controls, and identifying value engineering opportunities.
Experience in vendor management, including selecting and monitoring general contractors and subcontractors.
Ability to manage risk mitigation, safety standards (OSHA), and regulatory compliance for construction projects.
