What you'll do

  • Lead teams of technical consultants to implement Charles River Investment Management Solutions (CRIMS) for diverse investment areas.
  • Define client requirements and provide technical solution designs from the pre-sales phase through final implementation.
  • Manage technical implementation engagements by assessing client needs and identifying solutions aligned with current designs.
  • Oversee team performance, including staffing, time and expense processes, coaching, and talent recruitment.
  • Partner with sales teams to contribute to presentations and execute proof-of-concept projects.
  • Design and execute technical training sessions for clients.
  • Analyze and communicate complex technical solutions and detailed assessments to both internal teams and clients.
  • Manage project success by optimizing staff utilization and providing a support network for consultants.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or its equivalent.
  • 8 years of progressively responsible client service experience in the Financial Software Services industry.
  • Experience with technical support or implementing technical investment solutions within a bank, hedge fund, asset manager, or wealth management firm.
  • Advanced knowledge of system integrations including XML messaging, web services (SOAP), TEL tools, and database techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of installing n-tier software to DR/HA design and implementing enterprise software or SaaS-based solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one RDBMS: Oracle, MS SQL Server, or Sybase.
  • Detailed knowledge of at least 3 technologies: Tomcat configuration, N-tier architecture, and SOAP/XML Messaging software.
  • Demonstrated ability to program using Java, C#, and Perl.
