Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Model, simulate, and characterize power delivery networks across die, interposer, package, board, and voltage regulators.
• Design end-to-end power delivery systems to meet stringent impedance and voltage droop specifications.
• Define PDN architecture and design solution spaces for target systems.
• Manage all SoC droop topics including inrush, noise coupling analysis, and active droop mitigation.
• Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
• Perform feasibility studies for silicon floorplans and advanced droop mitigation schemes.
• Conduct model-to-hardware correlation on both component and product levels.
• Verify power integrity quality through lab measurements using equipment like VNAs and real-time scopes.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Master's or PhD with a background in Power/Signal Integrity, Analog Circuit Design, or Electromagnetism.
• Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation.
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development and PDN modeling from system to die.
• Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools and electromagnetic and transmission line theory.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as VNA, real-time scope, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solutions and voltage regulator technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a multi-functional team.
