PI Historian Application Owner, Manufacturing Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Own and support Aveva PI Data Historian activities to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Manage the design, technology, and lifecycle of the manufacturing data ecosystem.
• Execute a portfolio of technology and automation platform projects including resource and risk management.
• Elicit business requirements and convert them into functional designs for technology platforms.
• Perform system administration, troubleshooting, and vendor management for manufacturing platforms.
• Conduct cross-system and feasibility analyses to recommend optimal technical solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and foster external networking to provide valuable technology insights.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in Information Systems, Engineering, and/or Information technology.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in Information Systems, Engineering, and/or Information technology.
• Associate’s degree and 6 years of experience in Information Systems, Engineering, and/or Information technology.
• High school diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Information Systems, Engineering, and/or Information technology.
• 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with 2+ years in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industries (preferred).
• 2+ years’ combined experience with AVEVA PI, MES (Korber), Delta V, and/or Rockwell Platform Automation Systems (preferred).
• 2+ years’ combined experience with IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) (preferred).
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, 21 CFR Part 11, computer validation, and change control methodology (preferred).
