What you'll do

  • Own and support Aveva PI Data Historian activities to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Manage the design, technology, and infrastructure of the manufacturing data ecosystem.
  • Execute a portfolio of automation and technology projects including planning, risk management, and financial oversight.
  • Translate business stakeholder requirements into functional designs for technical systems.
  • Perform system administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for technology platforms.
  • Conduct cross-system analysis to determine project feasibility and recommend optimal technical solutions.
  • Manage relationships with internal business partners, external vendors, and service providers.
  • Monitor industry trends to integrate emerging technologies into the company's technical roadmap.

What we're looking for

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree and 6 years of experience, or a high school diploma and 8 years of experience in Information Systems, Engineering, or IT.
  • Experience with Aveva PI Data Historian systems is required to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Knowledge of Information Systems infrastructure services including Storage, VMs, Network, and Active Directory is required.
  • Preferred experience includes 4+ years in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industries.
  • Preferred experience includes 2+ years with platforms such as AVEVA PI, Korber MES, Delta V, or Rockwell Automation Systems.
  • Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Manufacturing Data integrations like SQL and Web Services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and SDLC standards is preferred.
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and experience with computer validation and change control methodology is preferred.
