Physician Support Informaticist 3

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one post-classroom training on Epic UChart applications and modules to physicians.
• Resolve end-user problems regarding software, hardware, and network difficulties within clinical information systems.
• Conduct periodic rounding in ambulatory care and clinic settings to identify provider issues.
• Manage the documentation, routing, and resolution of IT tickets with relevant technical teams.
• Travel to satellite locations to provide onsite support during system go-lives.
• Analyze new software releases to determine impacts on physician workflows and facilitate user prioritization sessions.
• Design and validate workflows for system upgrades, including user acceptance testing and change management.
• Develop documentation and training strategies for new system features in collaboration with trainers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Epic Certification in at least one core module.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in clinical operations, Hospital IT, or a healthcare vendor (preferred).
• Experience participating as a team lead on at least one module or system implementation, preferably Epic.
• Informatics Certificate, Lean Certification, or additional Epic Certification in an Ambulatory specialty application (preferred).
• Vendor or consulting experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in metrics/outcomes development, technical software, and clear written and verbal communication.
