As a Physical Design Engineer, you will join the logic design team to drive physical aspects of partition architecture early in the design cycle. Your daily responsibilities include completing netlist to GDS2 implementation while meeting specific schedule and design goals. You will manage timing, physical, and electrical verification to drive signoff closure for partitions, resolve flow issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams like power and DFT to ensure proper bring up. The role requires expertise in Place and Route (PNR) flows, Static Timing Analysis (STA), Electromigration and IR Analysis (EMIR), Physical Design Verification (PDV), and RC networks. You will utilize Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and employ scripting languages including TCL, Python, and Perl to automate and customize PNR flows while ensuring design functionality and manufacturability for complex digital circuit designs.
