PHY Lab Technician

What you'll do

• Maintain optimal operation of test equipment through regular calibration and maintenance.
• Set up and change hardware configurations on test benches as needed.
• Manage lab inventory by tracking supplies and coordinating procurement activities.
• Diagnose and repair or replace malfunctioning lab equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Support the characterization team in debugging devices and analyzing intellectual property performance.
• Ensure lab cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance through regular inspections and maintenance.

What we're looking for

• Associate’s degree with 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in lab or technical role.
• Ability to set up and maintain test equipment on benches, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing lab inventory, procurement, and vendor deliverables.
• Proficiency in software tools for inventory management and calibration planning.
• Knowledge of thermal forcing equipment and board design principles preferred.
