What you'll do

Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, cooling units, and power distribution components.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
Respond to alarms and troubleshoot equipment failures to execute immediate corrective actions.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and DCIM platforms to track environmental conditions and performance metrics.
Execute planned maintenance windows, system upgrades, and infrastructure expansion projects following change control procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors during equipment installations, repairs, and commissioning activities.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 emergency response for power or cooling failures.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance logs, incident reports, and standard operating procedures.

What we're looking for

Must be an active member in good standing with Local 68 or willing to join upon acceptance.
Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field is required.
3-5 years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities management, or industrial/commercial building maintenance is required.
Must have hands-on experience with mission-critical electrical and mechanical systems.
Required skills include knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, HVAC systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation is required.
DCCA certification, trade licenses, OSHA training, or First Aid/CPR certification are preferred.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks like climbing ladders at heights.
