NNPI Control Officer

What you'll do

• Architect, implement, and maintain the NNPI Security Plan in alignment with NAVSEA and Department of the Navy directives.
• Serve as the primary authority for determining and applying NNPI/NOFORN markings on all technical data and hardware.
• Manage strict access-control protocols by granting or revoking access based on citizenship, clearance, and necessity.
• Enforce controls to prevent the disclosure of sensitive information to foreign nationals or unauthorized entities.
• Ensure digital environments and air-gapped networks meet federal standards like NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2+.
• Act as the primary liaison for government compliance inspections and lead investigations into security infractions or data spills.
• Develop and deliver mandatory NNPI handling and awareness training for all cleared personnel and program managers.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess an active U.S. Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Must have proven experience as a designated NNPICO or Assistant NNPICO handling NNPI.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of NAVSEA NN-801, OPNAVINST N9210.3, and DoD CUI handling guidelines.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Must have 5+ years of security compliance or classified program management experience.
• Must demonstrate the ability to independently enforce compliance across cross-functional teams.
