Senior Network Engineer, VoIP

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise voice and collaboration systems including Cisco CUCM, UCCX, and Unity Connection.
• Architect and engineer complex dial plans, partitions, calling search spaces, and route patterns for VoIP solutions.
• Serve as the primary escalation point to resolve complex voice network issues involving jitter, latency, and routing failures.
• Analyze packet captures and SIP signaling to troubleshoot and resolve communication failures across the enterprise.
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive network administrative tasks and facilitate system management.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for modernization initiatives and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Perform site surveys, capacity planning, and end-user requirement analysis for physical and logical VoIP deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation while leading cross-functional discussions to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates must have at least five years of relevant experience in the field.
• Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, UCCX, and SIP-based platforms is required.
• Proficiency in analyzing packet captures and SIP signaling to resolve network issues is required.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting is preferred.
• Knowledge of RTP/Media concepts, SDP, Codecs, and secure signaling (TLS/mTLS, SRTP) is preferred.
• Expertise in routing, switching, Quality of Service (QoS), and traffic engineering is highly preferred.
