The Enterprise Voice Engineer II joins the team to provide sustainment, maintenance, and problem management for a large, complex, and highly resilient IP voice and video communications infrastructure. This role involves managing, configuring, and troubleshooting all aspects of a voice, video, and data network while performing capacity planning and configuration change actions. The engineer will resolve complex technical problems involving SIP signaling, call-flows, and remote site registration issues. Key technologies include Cisco and Juniper routing and switching devices, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity, Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), Oracle Session Border Controllers, and Avaya Aura Application Servers. Technical skills required include expertise in SRTP, G.711/G.729 codecs, DTMF, and BGP routing protocols. The work focuses on ensuring the secure, reliable availability of voice services within a defense information system network environment.
