What you'll do

  • Provide technical assistance and training to end-users for USPS operations.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot personal computer hardware and software.
  • Maintain peripheral equipment including printers, scanners, monitors, and IP phones.
  • Perform physical maintenance on networking equipment such as Cisco switches and wireless access points.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft products, Oracle products, and developer tools.
  • Manage virus protection systems and general office automation software.
  • Provide primary technical support for end users during both standard and off-hours.
  • Execute remedial actions for hardware, software, and end-user problems.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and pass a government background screening.
  • Must meet the U.S. residency requirement for the USPS security clearance process.
  • Experience in computer hardware, networking hardware, and software support.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, installing, and configuring hardware and software.
  • Experience with physical maintenance of networking equipment like Cisco switches and wireless access points.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and training to end users.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
