Network Infrastructure Engineer, Satellite HW Test Automation, LEO Antenna Test Infrastructure joins the Antenna Test Infrastructure team to build end-to-end automated test infrastructure for D2D phased array products. This role involves designing test rack and chamber environments including power distribution, cooling, and structured cabling, while developing a CI/CD integration layer to provision firmware onto HITL resources. The engineer will implement a test orchestration control plane for scheduling, DUT allocation, and result collection across distributed racks. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform, and integrating on-premises hardware with AWS services like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, IoT Core, and CloudWatch. The role addresses the technical challenge of automating validation for satellite vehicle hardware and antenna systems by building closed-loop workflows to detect regressions and manage remote "lights-out" operations across multiple lab sites.
Design end-to-end test rack and chamber environments including power distribution, cooling, and network connectivity for phased array hardware.
Develop the CI/CD integration layer to provision firmware onto hitl resources and trigger automated validation campaigns.
Implement a test orchestration control plane for scheduling, device allocation, firmware flashing, and result collection across distributed infrastructure.
Build automated closed-loop workflows to detect regressions and automatically generate tickets with relevant logs and metrics.
Integrate on-premises test infrastructure with AWS services for data storage, reporting, and automated monitoring.
Create standardized rack configurations using infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Design over-the-air (OTA) test-in-the-loop setups to integrate anechoic chambers into the CI/CD pipeline.
Establish remote "lights-out" management capabilities for 24/7 unattended operation of lab equipment and infrastructure.
What we're looking for
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
5+ years of experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure.
3+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, IoT Core, and CloudWatch.
Experience designing test/measurement rack environments with instrumentation, DUT connectivity, and power distribution.
Experience with physical infrastructure including power budgets, thermal management, structured cabling, and 19" EIA rack standards.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
Experience taking a facility design from concept through commissioning.
