Satellite Systems I&T Engineer, Space Networking Solutions

What you'll do

• Develop and execute the design, build, and validation of test systems for complex satellite subsystems.
• Create end-to-end integration and test plans to validate performance against customer and partner requirements.
• Develop test algorithms, scripts, and calibration routines for lab and field evaluations of integrated hardware.
• Architect and validate mechanical, optical, and electrical support equipment to enable test execution.
• Analyze system test data to provide proactive feedback on product performance and potential improvements.
• Manage the tracking and resolution of test anomalies, defects, and bugs in a production environment.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting test results, coverage, and key performance indicator metrics.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in space vehicle, bus, RF payload, or optical payload integration and test.
• 5+ years of experience developing space or communication system test requirements, plans, and procedures for verification and validation.
• 4+ years of experience developing code in Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, Docker, and Rust on Linux platforms.
• Experience testing satellite communications payloads, optical communications payload, spacecraft bus, or constituent subsystems.
• Familiarity with integration and test of satellite communications, ground terminals, or DoD networks (preferred).
• Proficiency with software development and hardware integration related to satellite payloads or ground systems (preferred).
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a TS/SCI security clearance.
