What you'll do

Manage all aspects of space segment systems engineering including concept development, trade studies, and CONOPS definition.
Perform requirements decomposition, allocation, and verification to ensure system functionality.
Design integrated satellite system solutions by analyzing subsystem functions and interfaces.
Participate in software-to-hardware integration and testing activities for pre- and post-launch operations.
Conduct technical data analysis to maintain systems configurations according to operational requirements.
Perform architectural analyses to optimize the satellite system design.
Resolve cross-functional technical issues using data to determine optimal engineering approaches.
Develop and improve internal systems engineering processes and rigor.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
5+ years of experience in space systems engineering principles, technical performance budgets, requirements analysis, and verification processes.
4+ years of experience in spacecraft systems engineering or a related field with hands-on satellite design and integration.
4+ years of experience in the derivation and maintenance of requirements from system level to lower levels.
Hands-on experience with spacecraft integration, flatsat testing, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or mission operations.
4+ years of experience using standard electronic lab test equipment like network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
Master’s degree in engineering, physics, aerospace, or similar field (preferred).
