Mission Engineer, Air Dominance & Strike

What you'll do

• Develop model-driven analyses and physics-based models using the scientific method.
• Design experiments using mission-level simulations to investigate concepts of employment.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear summaries for internal teams and external customers.
• Use internal modeling and simulation capabilities to provide a competitive advantage over rivals.
• Quantify how technology delivers mission success during demonstration events.
• Perform platform and payload modeling including aero, fuel, signature, radar, and communications.
• Lead operations analysis studies from initial problem definition through to final report generation.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant Science or Engineering field.
• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• 2+ years of hands-on AFSIM scripting experience.
• Proficiency in modeling and scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Simulink.
• Demonstrated experience in platform MS&A (aero, fuel, signature) and payload MS&A (radar, EOIR, communications, or weapons).
• Working knowledge of domains such as OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Long Range Fires.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• 5+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute an Operations Analysis study from concept to completion (preferred).
• Signal processing experience, such as track fusion and filtering techniques (preferred).
• Experience with RF propagation modeling, including communications, radar, and electronic warfare (preferred).
