Required expertise includes platform and payload modeling for aero, fuel, signature, radar, EOIR, and communications. The role addresses complex defense problems including Offensive/Defensive Counter-Air, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, and Long Range Fires, focusing on providing asymmetric advantages through advanced autonomy, perception, and sensor fusion products.

What you'll do

Develop model-driven analyses and the underlying models using the scientific method.
Translate stakeholder questions into physics-based analyses and mission-level simulations.
Use internal modeling and simulation capabilities to provide a competitive advantage.
Generate clear analytical artifacts and summaries for internal teams and external customers.
Quantify how technology delivers mission success during demonstration events.
Lead operations analysis studies from initial concept through to final report generation.
Model platform characteristics including aero, fuel, and signature data.
Model payload specifications such as radar, communications, or weapons systems.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in a relevant Science or Engineering field.
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Proficiency in modeling and scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, and Simulink.
Demonstrated experience in Platform MS&A (aero, fuel, and signature modeling) and Payload MS&A (radar, EOIR, communications, or weapons).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Working knowledge of domains such as OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Long Range Fires.
8+ years of experience in a relevant Science or Engineering field, or equivalent advanced academic experience (MS, Ph.D.) (preferred).
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance (preferred).
