What you'll do

  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and qualification of electrical systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Direct the creation of electrical assemblies, layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications.
  • Manage a team of electrical engineers by setting priorities, mentoring staff, and overseeing performance.
  • Conduct technical analysis, design reviews, risk assessments, and root-cause investigations for complex systems.
  • Ensure all electrical designs comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory regulations.
  • Lead cross-functional programs from initial concept through product release while managing executive-level stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage key suppliers to improve quality, cost, and manufacturability of electrical components.
  • Translate complex technical data into concise business communications to support executive decision-making.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical systems engineering, product development, or equipment engineering.
  • Prior experience as an engineering manager or people leader with responsibility for team performance and resource planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in electrical system architecture, power distribution, power control, and equipment-level integration.
  • Experience designing and integrating electrical equipment for semiconductor, process, batch, industrial, or manufacturing applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical systems and leading structured root-cause investigations.
  • Working knowledge of standards such as NFPA 70, NFPA 79, SEMI S2, SEMI S8, SEMI F47, and UL 508A.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (RS-232, RS-485, EtherCAT) and design tools like EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Management (preferred).
  • Experience developing electrical systems specifically for semiconductor capital equipment (preferred).
  • Experience leading global engineering teams across multiple geographic locations (preferred).
