The Medical Device Integration Coordinator supports the implementation, connectivity, maintenance, and cybersecurity of medical devices and clinical technology systems. Working with HTM, Information Management, Cybersecurity, and clinical departments, this role ensures medical devices securely exchange information with Epic and other hospital systems. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting network connectivity, wireless authentication, HL7 interfaces, and device-to-server communication. The coordinator manages platforms like Philips PIC iX, GE MUSE, and BD Alaris while overseeing server requirements, firewall rules, and vulnerability remediation. Key technical skills include knowledge of Windows systems, Active Directory, CyberArk, and medical-device interoperability. The role solves critical technical problems by coordinating new device onboarding, system upgrades, and disaster-recovery testing to maintain reliable clinical technology infrastructure and ensure seamless data flow across the healthcare environment.

What you'll do

  • Support medical-device platforms and applications including Philips PIC iX, GE MUSE, and BD Alaris.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, wireless authentication, HL7 interfaces, and Epic integration issues.
  • Coordinate new medical-device implementations including network onboarding, firewall rules, and go-live support.
  • Manage medical-device servers, workstations, middleware, databases, and vendor remote-access solutions.
  • Execute cybersecurity activities including vulnerability remediation, patch coordination, and system hardening.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for clinical technology incidents affecting patient care.
  • Support system upgrades, device replacements, operating-system migrations, and disaster-recovery testing.
  • Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, inventories, and project updates.

What we're looking for

  • Three to five years of experience supporting medical devices, clinical systems, or healthcare IT.
  • Knowledge of networking, Windows systems, medical-device connectivity, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience troubleshooting servers, interfaces, clinical applications, or device connectivity.
  • Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with clinical teams, IT, Cybersecurity, HTM, and vendors.
  • Ability to participate in after-hours support and escalation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Epic, HL7, medical-device integration, or interoperability (preferred).
