Mechanical Engineer IV

What you'll do

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and subsystems for complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Translate system and subsystem requirements into detailed mechanical designs, layouts, and drawings.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering documentation according to company standards.
• Perform engineering analyses including tolerance analysis, thermal-mechanical considerations, and structural integrity.
• Support prototype builds, system integration, debugging, and validation for New Product Introduction projects.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, failure analysis, and DFMEA corrective actions.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable, serviceable, and cost-effective by collaborating with manufacturing and supply chain partners.
• Mentor junior engineers on their assigned tasks and technical performance.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience, or 6 years with a Master's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid foundation in mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience creating detailed mechanical designs using 3D CAD tools like Creo or NX.
• Ability to read and interpret system requirements, drawings, and interface documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Experience in leading projects or managing multiple priorities (preferred).
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, wet processing, fluid handling, or DFx principles (preferred).
