Mechanical Engineer II

What you'll do

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from initial concept to final productization.
• Create 3D CAD models for components made from metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.
• Apply GD&T standards and industry best practices to ensure all technical documentation meets company requirements.
• Perform detailed engineering analyses including FEA, thermal, stress, vibration, and fluid/gas flow dynamics.
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop test plans to characterize and validate design performance.
• Produce high-quality technical reports and presentations to communicate design intent during formal reviews.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage the procurement and assembly of components and equipment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience, an advanced degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as CREO, Siemens NX, ProE, and SolidWorks.
• Hands-on experimental and design background coupled with solid engineering skills.
• Ability to perform detailed analysis including structural, FEA, thermal, stress, vibrations, and fluid/gas flow dynamics.
• Knowledge of GD&T standards and ability to ensure documentation aligns with SEMI and industry best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical presentations and reports.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Experience in project management or problem solving while managing multiple priorities.
