Mask Layout Designer

What you'll do

• Design sophisticated SRAM digital circuits and potentially analog/mixed-signal designs.
• Perform verification and necessary checks from initial design through tape-out using internal and vendor tools.
• Verify designs against physical and electrical checks and guidelines.
• Execute mask designs for various sophisticated macros and tiles integrated at the SOC level.
• Debug DRC/LVS issues and mentor the design team during technology bring-up.
• Lead major projects including resource allocation across domestic and international teams.
• Improve existing tools utilized by the mask design community.
• Utilize scripting languages like Skill, Perl, TCL, or Python to support the design flow.

What we're looking for

• Associate's degree in engineering with proven experience working on sophisticated mask designs.
• Electrical Engineering degree (preferred).
• Experience with complete sophisticated design of SRAM digital circuit.
• Experience finishing verification and necessary checking from beginning through tape-out using vendor specific or in-house tools.
• Ability to lead major projects including resource allocations both in the US and around the world.
• Experience as a hands-on mask designer on various sophisticated macros and tiles integrated at SOC level (preferred).
• Understanding of DRC/LVS debug and ability to mentor design teams in technology bring up (preferred).
• Understanding of scripting languages such as Skill, Perl, TCL, or Python (preferred).
