Manufacturing Systems Engineer, Automation

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain the process control system on the Emerson DeltaV distributed control system.
• Synthesize process requirements from stakeholders to develop solutions using the standard automation platform.
• Perform Data Integrity Assessments and support computerized systems validation in a GxP environment.
• Support vendor Factory Acceptance Testing to ensure control strategies and software code meet requirements.
• Execute commissioning and qualification efforts including Automation Installation Verification and Automation Check Out.
• Own and drive Change Controls, CAPAs, and Deviations to completion.
• Perform technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting for automation systems.
• Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP documentation.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of Engineering experience, Associate’s Degree and 6 years, or Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotech Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Direct knowledge of Automation System design and experience in process control engineering for GMP biopharmaceutical production (preferred).
• Experience in programming, installation, and lifecycle management of automation and field instrumentation technologies (preferred).
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS system and ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and system integration using OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus (preferred).
• Ability to interpret and apply GAMPs and GMPs, including 21 CFR Part 11, ASTM 2500, S88, and S95 (preferred).
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Self-directed team player able to work cross-functionally.
