What you'll do

Translate configuration and programming requirements into manufacturing process control systems for utilities and facilities.
Provide first-line MES technical support and training for automation-related problems to production and maintenance personnel.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues for site automation counter systems.
Execute system upgrades and data migrations for PLCs, SCADA, and Data Historian systems.
Develop qualification protocols and technical documentation including functional and design specifications for IT systems.
Perform routine IT administration tasks such as operating system updates, account management, and critical data backups.
Provide production support during off-peak hours, including potential overtime, overnight, or weekend shifts.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline with 2 years of experience is required.
A Master's degree in a relevant field is accepted as an alternative to the bachelor's degree and experience requirement.
Candidates must have hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell Automation software.
Experience with commissioning and qualification activities is required.
Preferred experience includes manufacturing or device environments.
Preferred skills include programming/troubleshooting MES platforms, scripting in JSON or SQL, and using the Ignition platform.
Knowledge of OPC UA Communications protocols and Data Historian systems like OSIsoft PI is preferred.
Experience with ladder logic programming, instructional texts, and HMI graphics development is preferred.
