Technician, Engineering I

What you'll do

• Monitor and troubleshoot industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues using PLC diagnostics, HMI information, and electrical schematics.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime and ensure system reliability.
• Assist in the design, installation, commissioning, and start-up of new process equipment and systems.
• Maintain technical documentation, monitoring logs, and training manuals for regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for improving manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
• Evaluate problems to determine root causes and implement efficient solutions for facility systems.

What we're looking for

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Technical school completion or certification is preferred.
• At least 5 years of prior technical experience in the area of specialty is required.
• Working knowledge of PLC-based control systems, preferably Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation or Siemens platforms, is required.
• Basic understanding of PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and industrial network communications is required.
• Ability to use PLC diagnostics, HMI information, electrical schematics, and technical documentation to troubleshoot equipment is required.
• Knowledge of basic regulatory requirements is required.
