What you'll do

Configure and program complex Operation Technology (OT) systems for manufacturing processes, utilities, and facilities control.
Lead small to medium-sized automation projects from inception through implementation according to project schedules.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues for assigned OT systems.
Manage the full lifecycle of OT systems including validation activities and documentation like Functional and Design Specifications.
Administer and maintain OT infrastructure including operating systems, anti-virus updates, user accounts, and data backups.
Implement and validate system upgrades and data migrations for DCS, PLC, SCADA, and Data Historian systems.
Provide training to users and engineers on new automation technologies and process control applications.
Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to schedule maintenance and system changes during off-peak hours.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with relevant experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with relevant experience.
Experience administering and configuring Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Emerson DeltaV or Foxboro I/A.
Experience with SCADA and PLCs including ladder logic programming; HMI graphics development is preferred.
Experience with commissioning, qualification activities, and computerized systems validation.
Experience administering and configuring a data historian system such as OSIsoft PI (preferred).
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, regulatory expectations, FDA, GMP, 21CFR11, and Data Integrity.
Experience designing and implementing Windows Server Operating Systems and related components like Active Directory and TCP/IP (preferred).
