What you'll do

Configure and program complex Operation Technology (OT) systems for manufacturing processes, utilities, and facilities control.
Lead small to medium-sized automation projects from inception through implementation according to project schedules.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for automation applications and process control systems.
Manage the OT systems lifecycle including validation activities and technical documentation like functional and design specifications.
Perform administration tasks such as operating system updates, user account management, and critical data backups.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues for DCS, PLC, SCADA, and Data Historian systems.
Provide training to users and engineers on new automation technologies and process control applications.
Coordinate with supply chain and operations to schedule maintenance work and system changes during off-peak hours.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with experience is required.
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with experience is required.
Experience administering and configuring Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Emerson DeltaV or Foxboro I/A is required.
Experience with SCADA and PLCs including ladder logic and instructional texts is required.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing processes, regulatory expectations, FDA, GMP, 21CFR11, and Data Integrity is required.
HMI graphics development and management experience is preferred.
Experience with commissioning, qualification activities, and computerized systems validation is preferred.
Experience administering data historian systems like OSIsoft PI or Windows Server components is preferred.
