What you'll do

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective production.
Implement automation solutions to reduce human factors in the manufacturing process.
Conduct Cpk and capabilities analysis to improve yield, throughput, and production trends.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions for manufacturing operations.
Design and improve manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment using CAD software.
Create and update detailed process documentation, work instructions, and flow diagrams.
Transition new products from the R&D concept phase to full production.
Execute continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
2+ years of experience developing manufacturing and/or automation processes.
Experience with prototyping and implementation.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for designing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
Knowledge of Cpk and capabilities analysis to assess process performance and production trends.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization techniques.
