Global Head of Data Platform Engineering

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade data platforms including ingestion, storage, and processing layers.
• Lead and scale a global engineering organization of over 100 professionals across platform and reliability engineering.
• Establish and embed SRE practices including SLAs, SLOs, observability, and automated incident management.
• Implement Agile delivery models and a product mindset to manage platform roadmaps and developer feedback loops.
• Architect and manage cloud-native and hybrid data platforms to ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and performance.
• Provide AI-ready data capabilities such as feature engineering pipelines and support for vector-based data.
• Build self-service developer tools, APIs, and SDKs to improve productivity for data scientists and engineers.
• Lead the modernization and rationalization of legacy data platforms into standardized enterprise architectures.

What we're looking for

• Senior leadership experience managing large-scale engineering organizations of 100+ professionals.
• Deep hands-on expertise in data platforms, distributed systems, and cloud-native or hybrid architectures.
• Proven experience building and operating mission-critical platforms at an enterprise scale.
• Strong experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and operational models.
• Strong experience implementing Agile engineering and product delivery frameworks.
• Experience with large-scale data processing including both batch and streaming data.
• Preferred background in financial services or similarly regulated, data-intensive environments.
