What you'll do

Develop system, subsystem, and component requirements for rocket propulsion systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools.
Manage the derivation, allocation, and documentation of requirements within specialized databases and specifications.
Coordinate requirement verification plans and manage compliance assessments with integrated product teams.
Perform functional analysis and coordinate system trade studies to define architecture and objectives.
Identify project risks and opportunities while developing and reporting on mitigation strategies.
Manage personnel needs, schedules, and work assignments for a small team of engineers or technicians.
Deliver technical findings through written reports and oral presentations to various stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Graduate degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools like IBM DOORs (preferred).
At least 2 years of relevant industry experience in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense sectors (preferred).
Specific expertise in requirements management, risk management, product development cycles, and liquid rocket propulsion (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
